Welcome To Mrs. Hanson's Math World.....I hope you have a successful 2011-2012 academic year! Work hard, always strive for excellence and you will achieve your goals.TEXTBOOK ---> FLORIDA MATH CONNECTS -Course 1 ((Glencoe/McGraw-Hill) **** ALL STUDENTS MUST WRITE IN THEIR AGENDA BOOKS DAILY. **** Assignments must be completed on a daily basis to reinforce new skills learned in class. Daily assignments are worth 10pts/day and must be completed in your composition books. All work must be done in pencil. Daily assignments are written on my website calendar and also on the classroom calendar. Students who are absent are allowed 2 days to make up all missed work. Remember also, that success is achieved when students are prepared for class. As such, each student is required to have an ample supply of all materials necessary for class which includes: * a composition book * a pocket folder * looseleaf paper * pencils * hand-held covered sharpener * red pen * ruler In addition, graph paper and a protractor are required but are not necessary until instructed to bring them to class. ~~ For ALL PERIODS --A weekly review is assigned each Friday and is collected on Monday. This must be done on looseleaf paper and is worth 100 points. ~~ Students are notified of all upcoming quizzes and tests in advance. Students must allow themselves enough time to review adequately for these. -->STUDENTS, PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING TO REVIEW SKILLS TAUGHT IN CLASS<-- Online textbook Personal Tutor: **GO TO: http://beep.browardschools.com **click on Student Portal-----User ID is your student number and the password is your birth date----------MM/DD/YYYY **Under Grades 6-8, click on Mathematics **Go to your grade level and click on view textbook(It might take a minute to load.) **Click on the chapter you are working on. **Find the lesson you are working on and click on it. **Click on the Lesson Playlist tab(It might take a minute to load.) **Go to the Personal Tutor-------- **Here you will find videos that will help you with your work.
