Ms. Morhaim

Welcome To Ms. Morhaim's Page
As the eighth grade guidance counselor at Tequesta Trace Middle, my job is to make sure that
each and everyone of you do the best that you can do. I help all students in three domains,
academic, personal/social and career. Please see me if you have any questions, concerns or problems.

In order to be successful you must first believe in your self.
You must recognize the talents and abilities that you possess and you must know, and believe
that you can succeed.

Being organized is also the key to success, have all of your materials and assignments prior
to coming to school. Manage your time well, use class time and quiet time at home to study.
Learn how to adapt to different teachers. Each teacher will have a different personality,
teaching style and expectation.
Be in school on time, everyday.
Be prepared for each class.

Other Important Information
Studies have shown that parental involvement is directly correlated with students' academic
success. Your children need you to be interested and involved in their academic progress. Make certain that your child knows that their academic progress is important to you. Discuss classes and set goals, offer to help, listen ,encourage involvement and monitor their activities. Parents please stay involved in your child's education, together we can help our
children achieve their maximum potential and promote a positive self-worth.
