Mentoring Program

This exceptional program matches students with a caring adult who will spend approximately one hour a week, on school premises, developing self-esteem, promoting a positive attitude towards school, building goal-setting skills, and other issues that may be affecting student's success. Participating mentors need to complete the required training and security clearance by the School Board of Broward County. If you need more information, please contact Mrs. Franco at 754-323-4421.

As the seventh grade counselor at Tequesta Trace Middle School, I provide and carry out a comprehensive counseling program focusing on the uniqueness of students in three areas of development; academic, personal/social and career.

Tequesta will be participating in a "One Book One School" program. All students and staff will be reading The Wizard of Oz. We invite parents to read with us.

This year we will focusing on becoming an Anti- Bully school, School Board Policy 5.9. Please look on our homepage to learn how you can help.
