Attention all 7th Graders, you may have qualified to participate in the Annual Scholastic Talent Search sponsored by the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP). Participants must score at or above the 95th percentile on 6th grade FCAT.  This program is optional.  You do not have to participate. (The Broward School System is not a sponsor of this test).

If you qualify and decide to participate, you will have the opportunity to take a College Board test, SAT or ACT as a 7th grader.  Also, you will be invited to attend a college course at Duke University in the summer of 2005 (fees involved).

Please call or stop by your 7th grade guidance counselor's office to pick up some important information about the program and an application.  Deadline to register is October 1st for the December test and November 1st for the January of February tests.
