*Be polite, use manners, and show respect to me and others in class
*Leave gum, candy, food, and drinks away from the classroom
*Always have a positive attitude, ready to listen and learn

CONSEQUENCES:

If the rules are not obeyed, the following consequences
will be enforced:
*Verbal Warning
*Writing Assignment
*Parent Contact
*Detention
*Referral to Administration

GRADES:

After work has been submitted to me for grading, the grades will post on
Pinnacle Parent Viewer within a few days.

TO FIND A (D.E.A.R.) CHAPTER BOOK THE STUDENT MAY ENJOY:

1) grab a bunch of books and read the first 6-7 pages and see if you (student)
likes the way the author is writing to you (author's writing style).
2) when you find a style you like, check and see if there are only 1 or 2
that you do not understand on a page. Look at 5 random pages to see if
this is the case.

HOMEWORK and CLASSWORK:

Homework is a way a person can sit at home and really absorb into his/her
brain, the material that was taught in school. I am speaking from experience.
Turning in homework on time, teaches a person how to be responsible, one of
the most important expectations in life. I need homework to be completed AND
turned in, on time.
Reading Logs are a staple homework assignment. They will be collected every
twenty school days. Reading Logs are double-sided. Ten assignments on each side.
A complete heading and parent signature is required on both sides.
