Welcome to Mrs. Collie's Math Class

Below you will find general
information about my class and the way it is run. By clicking on the calendar
links to the left you will be able to not only get an idea of what we are
covering in class but you will also find the daily homework assignments.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to
contact me at school, (754)323-4400. My planning period is 2nd period.

 

The Learning Environment:

Positive and loving. It is so much easier to learn where you are loved.  

Daily Class Routines

  • 5 minute warm-up(review) – Monday – Thursday (except during FCAT Preparation). Note: Students must be on time to do the warm-up. Homework Review Class Lesson - Printed daily on the board. Homework- Printed daily on the board.

Communication

  • Look for notes in the agenda Note: I sign next to any note that I receive via agenda. Look for Grade updates in the agenda Telephone Calls Homework is posted in the classroom and online(see my calendar)

Grading

The percent weight of total grade is as follows:

Class Assignments - 30%

Weekly Quiz Scores - 30%

Chapter Tests - 30%

Homework - 10%
