WELCOME MESSAGE - Week of: 01/05/2009

Parents and Students,
Welcome back to school. I hope that you had a GREAT holiday season!!!

I wish you the VERY BEST for 2009!!!

Students,
As we complete the second half of the school year, be reminded that your success in mathematics will take commitment. Here is a quote that I learned in middle school, one that I have always lived by. I hope that you too will continue to embrace its central principle.

"The heights by great men [and women] reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Mission Statement
My mission is to provide high quality, professional instruction in mathematics in an environment that is inclusive and meets the unique needs of each student so that each student can gain a solid foundation in mathematics and an appreciation for the applications of mathematics in higher education and the real world…
