Welcome to the 2nd quarter of the year!
Dear Parents and Students,
Beginning this December, we will be reading the novel The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis
We will be reading, discussing and doing work on this classic novel in class in its entirety.
It may be the student's advantage to own their own copy of the novel so they can reread it at home as reinforcement and better understand the story.
This book may be borrowed at any public library or purchased at any bookstore.
Students often benefit from having their own copy of the book to review.

When absent, it is the student's responsibility to make up or ask teacher for what they missed.
Supply List:
- one 1-inch 3-ring binder with 4 dividers
- 1 composition notebook
- loose leaf paper (at all times)
- 1 two pocket folder and/or duo-tang folder
- highlighters (4 colors)
- pens(blue/black), #2 pencils
Other Important Information:
* EVERY student should be using their TTMS agenda to write down work.
* Parents, please check your child's agenda every Monday for updates.
* This agenda is an integral tool we all need to utilize for an awesome year!
