Basic Daily Supplies - Spiral notebook, 1 pronged pocket folders
for each quarter with 10 clear sleeves and 20 sheets of notebook paper,
pen or pencil, red pens, and 2 different highlighter. We will also need
hand sanitizer and reams of copy paper.
Wish List Items - Glue guns and glue, baby wipes, cotton balls, and
of course... pretzels in a big jar!
Don't forget to send in anything scientific that supports
our current theme! THANKS!!
CHAPTER TESTS - are scheduled for approximately two or three days after we
finish the last section of a chapter. We will usually have an investigation/activity and a
review before each test.
ALTERNATIVE ASSESSMENTS - are also woven through out our calendar. Students are
asked to do self-evaluations and group grading on certain assignments.
This increases their ownership and independence with learning!
We will be progress through the textbook using Broward County's
recommended science curriculum map.

Recycling used printer cartridges and old cell phones by bringing them into school
Clip the BOX-TOPS for Education from General Mills products and bring in for our PTA
Join us for the RELAY for LIFE event in the spring!
Clean up any environment during a Beach Walk or other adventure of your own
Practice random acts of kindness!
