Welcome to Mrs. Shir's 6th and 7th grade advanced language arts classes! Our goals this year are to improve all our communication skills by exploring literature, grammar, speaking, listening, and writing.
I'm looking forward to a successful year working with all my students.
Homework is listed daily on the side board, along with my TTMS calendar page (Click on tab to the left).
In addition, the daily drawer contains missed warm-up activities, assignments, and worksheets for students who are absent.
Remember to exchange phone numbers and e-mail addresses with several classmates in order to double-check on makeup work.
Students receive nightly homework on weeknights along with ongoing
projects.
Projects, quizzes, and tests are listed on my calendar;
Click the link on this page to get there.
