Homework is graded on completion, therefore, no excuse for zeros. •Late homework will not be accepted. •Guidelines/directions must be followed and all problems must be attempted in order to receive full credit. •Homework assignments and test/quiz dates will be posted on the calendar in class and on the calendar on my homepage located on the TTMS website
I pride myself in being a very firm, but fair teacher. I will not tolerate any misbehavior that interferes with the teaching or learning process in my classroom. Class rules and consequences are as follows:

CONSEQUENCES 1.Warning 2.Parent contact 3.Detention 4.Referral
REWARDS FOR APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR 1.An excellent learning environment 2.Praise and/or letters of recognition 3.Bonus points toward report card grade 4.Participation in special end-of-year events
STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY •Students are responsible for being on time to class everyday and having all required supplies. Attached is a list of supplies if you did not receive one at open house. •Students are responsible for making up work missed due to absences in a timely manner. When absent, students are encouraged to check the website for their assignment and attempt to do the problems. Otherwise, they have 2 days for each excused absence to make up missed work. •If an assignment or test is assigned prior to an absence, the student is responsible for turning in the assignment and/or taking the test upon returning to school.
GRADING POLICY
Academically, I have very high expectations of my students. Students’ grades are based on daily homework and class work assignments, quizzes and tests. The student’s grade is based on a point system as follows:
•Homework – 10 points •Daily quizzes (average of 8) – 100 points •Chapter quizzes – 100 points •Chapter Tests – 200 points
Student’s total points are divided by the total possible points yielding a percent which will be converted to a letter grade.
