In World History we will
study cultures and history from
around the world starting with the
"dawn of civilization" and ending with the “Age of Enlightenment”.
We will be examining why people live
as they do, and how history has affected the present.
Areas of Study
We will begin our journey back in the “Stone Age”, learning about the earliest civilizations.
We will travel to the “Bronze Age” where we will discover how the Ancient Egyptians became one of the earliest empires.
In the “Iron Age” the Greeks
and Roman Empires reigned supreme and gave us many technological
advancements.
During the “Pre-Industrial Revolution” the Dark ages brought famine and fear until the “Age of Enlightenment” –the renaissance- restored civilization
