The Technology Lab environment is a modular-type setting. A module is a defined lab space where students spend the majority of their time completing the technology activities. This space is equipped with all the materials, tools and equipment that the students need to complete the technology activities. Students follow a set of self-directed instructions, that through a hands on approach to learning, introduces a concept, reinforces the concept, and provides a hands-on activity demonstrating the concept.  This allows for validation/evaluation by the instructor/facilitator. The activities are designed to allow students to have experiences with technology while integrating other disciplines such as math, science, history/social science, language arts, and visual and performing arts.
