Welcome To Mrs. Tylek's 7th Grade World Geography and 6th Grade World History Classes!

In World History, as sixth graders this year, we will be examining the events and people that came before us around the world and attempting to understand how their cultures and accomplishments contributed to the world we know today.
In World Geography, as seventh graders this year, we will be examining the world around us and the physical and cultural elements that make up our world. We will study how landforms, oceans, and other natural aspects of the environment shape where, why, and how people live,as we become more proficient at locating, describing, and understanding the continents and countries of the world.
ASSIGNMENTS CAN BE FOUND ON MY CALENDAR.
SUPPLY LIST FOR 2011-2012
It is not required that you have duplicates of things that overlap with
other class supplies except for folders(example: pens, highlighters, pencils, USB, etc.)
-Blue, black, and red pen (at least one each color)
-Two #2 pencils
-Two different colored highlighters
-One duo-tang folder with pockets
-Colored pencils and/or crayons
-Ruler
-Writing paper
-Glue stick
-A one time submission of a large white poster-board (not foam or showboard)
RECOMMENDED, BUT NOT REQUIRED ITEMS THAT WILL BE HELPFUL TO STUDENTS:
-USB for student data storage
-mini whole puncher
-cellophane tape
CLASSROOM DONATIONS THAT ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED (Totally not a requirement):
-hand sanitizer
-tissues
-Clorox wipes
